At KIIT Primary School, we believe that reading is not just a skill — it’s a window to the world. Reading decreases our sense of isolation and expands our understanding of life, enriching both the mind and soul. It sparks imagination, enhances vocabulary, and nurtures emotional intelligence in children. To instill this lifelong habit, we actively engage our students in daily newspaper reading to keep them informed and curious about the world around them. Alongside this, our ‘Read Aloud’ sessions bring stories to life, helping children develop listening skills, pronunciation, and a genuine love for books. These simple yet powerful practices help us shape confident, articulate, and empathetic individuals who are not just readers—but thoughtful thinkers.
